Margaret and son-in-law          John Thompson.Thomas was 56 and a
widower.

Death at the age of 71 witnessed by John Thompson his son in law.

Notes for William HOWE


William was a miner until the General Strike (1928?). He was then
unemployed until the war.
During the war worked on the railway as a labourer.
Failed medical for colour blindness and was no longer allowed to work on
the railway after the war.
Then found work as a builders labourer for Edgar Lawson of Darlington
until he retired.


HOBBIES
Supported Shildon Football Club.
Kept Cavies on allotment with his brother George.

ADDRESSES

Before Marriage:
family rented Garden House which was at the top of the hill between
Shildon and Bishop Auckland. House no longer exists due to subsidence.

When he married they lived at:
41, Adelaide Street, Shildon and then at
39, Adelaide Street, Shildon

1953 lived at 31 Cedar Grove, Shildon.
