Purposes of this Web Site

Genealogical Information Exchange

This web site is aimed to invite contact from people interested in genealogy and family history who feel that their research is overlapping with that of our family in order to promote the bilateral exchange of information.

We are involved in researching my wife's family history. See Helens Family Tree Pages for the results of our family tree research to date.

Any communications regarding shared avenues of research are welcome.

My own family history is being researched by my parents. See Wades Family Tree Pages for their family tree research results to date. Whilst I would welcome enquiries regarding this information, any specific enquiries would probably have to be passed on to my parents.

Distribution of Ged2Web

I have produced my own GEDCOM to HTML conversion program called Ged2Web which I have used to produce the genealogical content of this site. I have made Ged2Web available from this site in order to allow other people to use it should they wish. Ged2Web download page.

Anyone who wishes to try Ged2Web for themselves can download an unregistered version from this web site. Registration can then be done by email (There is currently no charge for registration - it is used solely for me to assess the interest in Ged2Web).

Privacy Guarantee

We will guarantee that the contact details of anyone who contacts us will not be passed on to any third party without prior authorisation (The only usual reason to pass on contact details at all would be to put someone in touch will other people that we know to be researching the same area).

If anyone wishes information that they are providing to remain confidential, We will respect their wishes.

PGP (or equivalent) users can use encryption should they wish to.
